Nursing revalidation UK completed forms
A true reflection of lived experience and implementation of The Code, of Practice of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), through the lens of a minority, black, UK registered nurse.
My reflective practice experience will inspire, motivate and encourage nurses from similar backgrounds to advance in their careers. I hope these reflections are used as an educational tool and study guide for newly qualified nurses and those considering nursing as a career. It is not perfect, but it should encourage further discussion. I have included a 'revalidation prep note template' to support you in preparing and collating your thoughts.
The Nursing and Midwifery Council is the regulatory body for nurses and midwives practising in the UK. The primary purpose of the NMC is to maintain a register of all nurses, midwives and specialist community public health nurses and nursing associates eligible to practise within the UK.
The Code is the NMC professional standards of practice and behaviour for nurses, midwives and nursing associates in the UK.
